Kundiman is a founding member of the Poetry Coalition, which is a national alliance of nearly thirty organizations dedicated to working together to promote the value poets bring to our culture and the important contribution poetry makes in the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds.

The Kundiman Poetry Coalition Fellow position is a ten-month paid role, with a 20 hour per week commitment, from September 2, 2025 to June 30, 2026, that offers hands-on experience at a literary arts nonprofit. Candidates from all geographic areas within the U.S. are welcome to apply. This role will include remote work, and the Fellow must be able to attend virtual meetings and do the bulk of their work during weekday hours from 10 am to 6 pm Eastern Time. The Poetry Coalition Fellow will be working primarily with Kundiman's Development department to support grant writing, fundraising, donor research, donor events, and donor cultivation. The total stipend is $20,000 ($25/per hour) plus $1,100 toward health care. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, July 1st. More details and application instructions can be found here.
