Creative Nonfiction Intensive

Kundiman is excited to offer its second annual Creative Nonfiction Intensive. The Intensive will create a space of generative writing and contemplation for Asian American writers seeking innovative approaches to the craft of essay, cultural criticism, and memoir. The Creative Nonfiction Intensive will be limited to 14 participants and will be held at Fordham University's Lincoln Center Campus.

The Intensive will be led by Nicole Chung, an editor at Catapult and the former managing editor of The Toast. Nicole has written for The New York Times, the Times Magazine, Hazlitt, BuzzFeed, The Atlantic, The Morning News, and other publications. She is working on a memoir about transracial adoption.

Applications are due May 15. Click here for more details.
